DESIRING THE BREAD OF LIFE,
WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST

Meditating on God’s Word and speaking forth the following verses as a daily part of your life will help remove the strong desire for food. These verses with the accompanying confessions will place the Power of God’s Word in your heart to give you the strength necessary to fast food as a lifestyle. Eating natural food is never a problem because all people on the face of this earth must eat. Generally the problem lies in the desire to eat when you don’t need to or the lack of restraint to not eat. Once the desire for food is removed and the restraint of not eating out of habit is inherent in your heart eating can be minimized to the place where you eat only when necessary. When you reach the place where your meals are fewer your portions can be minimized and your frequency can be reduced. People conquer the desires of the flesh one step at a time, each day you must remain faithful to read, speak and meditate upon the rich word of God concerning your attitude and eating habits. When diligence is applied to this area of your life you can obtain an untemptable attitude about food which states:

“I really don’t care about food, and I only eat a small portion per day. All food is no big deal, it is not to be worshipped, adored or loved it was put hear by God to strengthen our physical bodies. Therefore I worship the Creator of the earth, Jesus Christ, not the natural products of His creation, like food. I believe this statement as truth with all of my heart and soul in Jesus Name”.

The confession of faith is first with the scripture foundation it is based on following right underneath it. This spiritual heavenly food for the heart can be feasted upon all day to gain spiritual weight in God. The stronger your inner man is the less strength the outward man can have. As soon as your mind becomes renewed your attitude about food will be like Christ and that truth of God’s word will conquer any erroneous misconceptions about inherited eating habits. Jesus said if you know the truth that truth you know will make you free and he/she who is free in Christ is free indeed.-Refer to John 8:31-36 So please make the deposits of God’s Word into your heart in the Wonderful Name of Jesus to possess complete victory over the cravings of the body. Since Jesus was able to overcome food for many days (refer to Matthew 4:2) all Believer can certainly overcome food many hours in one day. Amen!

Food gives us no added favor with God; eating does not make us better before God, nor by not eating do we stand in a worst position with God. We don't allow our eating liberties in Christ Jesus to cause a brethren to stumble, or be offended unnecessarily.

1 Corinthians 8:8,9
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak. KJV

Our Father, who is in us, Hallowed be the Name of Jesus, Your Kingdom be manifested, Your Word, be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. Lead us this day to our sufficient portion of food and daily help us to eat the right foods in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:9-11
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread. KJV

I speak not about personal desires or foods: for I have learned, that where ever I Am and whatever I Am doing to be content without distraction, because everywhere I go and every place I stop, in all things done in this life I Am instructed by God's Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit when to fill my body with profitable foods and when to resist hunger by the absent of idle and unprofitable foods and drinks, or complete absence from food as a whole for a season, I can do all things through the Christ Jesus, for the Joy of His fellowship strengthens me.

Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. KJV

I take no thought from the lust of food, by constantly saying what I shall eat and drink. Therefore I am not careful or concerned about carnal food. I seek first to understand my Father's Kingdom and the gift of righteousness given to me through Jesus Christ my Lord. Only the food and drink I have need of for this day is added to my body, rather than consumed to fulfill any lust of the flesh.

Matthew 6:31-33
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. KJV

I keep my body under the Word of God and make it abide in continuous subjection to the Holy Spirit in my inner man. Food does not lord over my spirit from God.

1 Corinthians 9:25-27
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. KJV

I am not concerned about what I shall eat, for my life in God's Presence by His Word is much more valuable than food. I am not doubleminded.

Luke 12:22,23,29-31
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; KJV

My Lord gives me my portion of meat in due season.

Luke 12:42
And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? KJV

For the Kingdom of God is not earthly foods or drinks, but spiritual righteousness in Christ Jesus, and the Peace of God, and continuous Joy in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We perform our spiritual service unto God which is acceptable (pleasing) to God, and approved of men. I follow and abide in God's Love, free of care or natural cravings, which keeps me peaceful so that I can edify someone else.

Romans 14:14-20
14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. KJV

I eat and drink at my Lord's Jesus table in the Kingdom of God feasting always in His love, mercy and goodness.

Luke 22:29,30a
29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30a That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, KJV

Heaven and earth shall pass away; but God's Word shall never pass away. I take heed to my spirit - so at no time will I weigh down my heart by over eating and/or over drinking in Jesus Name!

Luke 21:33,34
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. KJV

My foot is held in Jesus steps, His way of Love and faith do I keep, without declining, I shall not resist or turn away from the words of His mouth more than my appointed portion of food.

Job 23:11.12,16
11 My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
16 For God maketh my heart soft, KJV

My food is to do the will of Jesus, that saved me, and to finish His will for my life!

John 4:33-35
33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, "Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?"
34 Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. NKJV

A person who does what is right eats only what they have a clear conscious to eat.

Proverb 13:25
The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: KJV

Lord Jesus I only eat the foods you designed for my body because they are good. I delight to eat the meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains and various drinks full of the minerals you created, including my proper portion of water. My soul listens for your directions on which foods and drinks effect my body for the best results for every situation in life. Help me, Oh Lord, to spend my money wisely toward God’s natural food for the edification of my self and my family knowing that God’s Spiritual Food of His Word was already paid for in Christ Jesus. We have a covenant of long life upon the earth based upon the sure mercies of God given to me through Jesus.

Isaiah 55:2-3
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. KJV

Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, Jesus is that bread of life, His Words are spirit and my life. As my Living Father sent me and I live by (through, because of) my Father, even so whoever continues to feed on God's Word (whoever takes Jesus for his food and is nourished by His written and spoken Word) shall live through and because of Jesus.

John 6:27,48,51,54-57,63
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
48 I am that bread of life.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. KJV

Although God’s Word is strong and powerful, His Word diet will only work if you give it your best effort of consistence over the long haul. Angela and I are suggesting a change in your lifestyle that starts with your decision to change your attitude through the ever-living word of God. After your attitude is transformed to resist the lust of food, your eating will be temperate (under your complete control) and your life will be easier because you will be walking in the Power of God. This will enable you to live a fasted lifestyle of discipline eating unto God while being led by His Holy Spirit of Love and Liberty. Never let yourself or anyone else condemn you about your size or weight because you are a new creature in Christ. Simply conquer your fears through the faith of Jesus to overcome the challenges of the flesh. Angela and I believe in you and we set ourselves in agreement with God’s Word that you are an overcomer in Christ Jesus. Now step out on the all powerful, never failing Word of God to elevate yourself to a rightful position of honor because you are always a child of the King. Amen.

Remember Romans 8:34-39

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. KJV
